We are pleased to invite you to the BIOKINETICS Final Conference – “Beyond the Stage”, an online event dedicated to sharing the experiences, practices and artistic outcomes developed throughout the European BIOKINETICS project.
BIOKINETICS has brought together artists, performers and organisations from Greece, Italy and Portugal in a shared journey exploring the relationship between disability, body, movement, artistic practice and technology.
Through workshops, training activities, artistic research and collaborative creation, the project has investigated how different bodies, experiences and ways of moving can become a source of artistic knowledge, creativity and participation.
This process led to the creation of Nothing to Hide, an international interdisciplinary performance developed through the collaboration of artists and performers with and without disabilities.
During the final conference, participants will have the opportunity to discover the practices developed in the three partner countries, hear directly from the performers about their experiences, and view selected video materials documenting the artistic process and the project’s main outcomes.
