Towards the creation of the final performance
From October 27 to 31, 2025, Lisbon becomes the stage for the Second Series of Biokinetics Workshops, hosted by Vo’Arte as part of the Creative Europe – Biokinetics project.
For five days, artists and performers from Portugal, Italy, and Greece — with and without disabilities — come together in a space of research, experimentation, and creative dialogue, working towards the preparation of the final performance that will take shape in the next stages of the project.
Guided by the project partners DAGIPOLI DANCE Co (Greece), Vo’Arte 25 anos (Portugal), Fondazione Mantovani Castorina Onlus (Italy), and En Drasei (Greece), participants explore the body as a language of connection and transformation.
Through improvisation, deep listening, and shared creation, the group builds a common ground where every gesture becomes a sign of encounter — between difference and identity, individuality and collectivity, body and imagination.
This Lisbon chapter follows the first sessions held in Milan and represents a moment of artistic and human deepening in Biokinetics’ journey toward a truly inclusive dance and a European vision of accessibility in the arts.
