The trailer of Nothing to Hide is now online. The performance was created within Biokinetics – Divergent Paths in Performing Arts, a European project dedicated to performing arts, accessibility, and the cultural participation of people with disabilities.
Nothing to Hide is the result of a shared artistic journey involving performers, choreographers, artists, and cultural organisations from different European countries. The project brings together dance, theatre, movement, and body-based research, placing bodies, identities, and lived experiences at the centre of the creative process.
The clip captures some moments from the stage work and creative process developed throughout the project, offering an intense and poetic glimpse into a performance that invites the audience to reflect on visibility, vulnerability, relationships, and the right to inhabit the stage without having to hide.
Nothing to Hide is not only a title, but also a statement: there is nothing to hide in bodies, differences, fragilities, and the many forms of human expression. On the contrary, it is precisely from these differences that new possibilities for encounter, language, and presence can emerge.
The project Biokinetics – Divergent Paths in Performing Arts promotes an artistic and cultural reflection on accessibility in the performing arts, enhancing inclusive practices and co-creation processes that challenge stereotypes, barriers, and normative models within the contemporary performing arts scene.
Fondazione Mantovani Castorina ETS is a partner of the project, together with Dagipoli Dance Company, Vo’Arte, En Drasi Theatre Company, Contamina APS, and CiM – Dance Company.
