Vo’Arte, a non-profit cultural association, has been working within these 25 years with and for the artistic contemporary creation and inclusion in the performative arts, based on the merging vindication of artistic expressions, developing national and international projects that support the interchange and trans-disciplinary creation, combining both mainstream artists and emerging creators.

Through its Dance Company – CiM, Vo’Arte continues to create, produce, promote, and disseminate art as a means of social inclusion and integration. This is achieved through a diverse, multidisciplinary, and inclusive programme that incorporates accessible cultural resources (audio description and sign language translation) in its productions, events.

Vo’Arte also organises InShadow – Lisbon Screendance Festival, a reference in contemporary transdisciplinary artistic creation. The festival highlights the interplay between image and movement, driven by technology, and features an international competition, workshops, exhibitions, and various events across Lisbon. Another significant project is InArt – Community Festival, a participatory initiative that celebrates the diversity of communities by showcasing artistic projects that break boundaries of language, movement, and perspective. It fosters community engagement, turning art into a catalyst for new artistic and social landscapes.

Vo’Arte actively engages in European cooperation projects that focus on disability and inclusion in the arts. These initiatives foster cross-border networks and exchanges, bringing together individuals of different ages, nationalities, and social backgrounds.
